Catching Up.

I've not updated this site for over a year. Since March 2020 to be precise when we had just booked a cruise to Spain and Portugal to celebrate that my cancer surgery had been successful. Then everything turned upside down and the world seemed to stop, quite literally. We were luckier than most and managed to get away to Corfu for a few days in October 2020 but looking back it was less of a holiday and more of a relief to be somewhere else.

As things are starting to return to some semblance of normality I thought I might as well update the site for the sake of completeness. My reasons for starting it hasn't changed, it's an open diary of our holidays and I still dislike Facebook. Just today I searched for a tuxedo (might get one for cruising and possibly shopping in the supermarket) and my 'feed' was then filled with adverts for suites. That sort of thing should, at the very least, fill you with annoyance.

We have another cruise booked for October. Choice was a little limited but it's back to Spain. Hopefully this will go ahead but I won't be counting my chickens until they've been turned in to KFC.
